Colosseum Entrance
If this is your first visit to the Colosseum, you may need this simple information.
Where are the entrances to the Colosseum located?
To enter the ancient arena, you can use one of three entrances, depending on the type of Colosseum ticket you purchased. All visitors must purchase a ticket to enter the monument.
- Main entrance (handicapped entrance)
- Admission for groups
- Stern Entrance

The best time to visit the ‘amphitheater is between November and March. Obviously if you can visit the monument on midweek days, it is better to avoid the large tourist influx. How it is recommended to go to ‘Rome’s most popular attraction in the early morning hours or close to closing time.
